Dr. Juliann Steinbeigle, LCPC, LMHC

Hi, I am Dr. Juliann Steinbeigle, LMHC, LCPC. I treat patients with anxiety and depression.  I am a Mental Health Practitioner, Mom, Grandmother and survivor.  I have found ways to overcome life’s mountains and can help you do it too.  After years of struggling to find answers to so many overwhelming questions and uncontrollable emotions as well as raising 3 children I discovered mental health techniques that help.  Since then I have been determined to help others identify the true root causes and personsal techniques that traditional medicine has failed at.

I have been in practice over 20 years and have worked with 1000’s of patients in a collaborative effort to discover and overcome the details of the root causes, “the what’s, when’s, where’s, why’s and how’s that illustrate each patient journey and point to solutions.  My life’s work has been to help others discover personal well-being in partnership with my canine therapy animal Sadie.

Anxiety and Depression are not medical conditions.

Medications for anxiety and depression cannot make the root causes the lead to emotional and physical distress go away.  Taking medication decreases the symptoms associated with anxiety and depression while adding the risk of serious emotional and physcial side effects, sometimes even leading to suicide.

I believe that individuals have the capacity to overcome without medication!

Research has shown that collaborative talk therapy is an effective way to reduce, control and overcome anxiety and depression.  We need to treat the patient not the symptoms.  Collaborative patient relationship is key.  As a mental health practitioner I can tell you that your internal cognitive, emotional and spiritual processes cannot be changed through medication.  Self exploration, discovery and personal change is what is needed.

The mind body connection is to often ignored by mainstream medicine

If you have experienced psychological suffering you are at increased risk to develop stroke, cancer, heart disease, diabetes, gastro-intestinal diesease and other deadly medical conditions.

Psychotherapy reduces the physical risks associated with psychological injury while rewriting your DNA that was affected during exposure to your life’s mental/emotional/spiritual affliction.

Living with depression and anxiety can be “debilitating”. . . but it doesn’t have to be that way.

It is tiring when you are struggling to figure out how to change, but you are still not getting any better. The worst part of suffering with depression and anxiety is the loneliness you experience.  You think no-one understands.  You can’t talk to your friends or family they either try to fix it or tell you to “it will be ok”.  You have to maintain a happy outside for others without them knowing the despair you feel inside.

Most medical practitioners say it is a hormone imbalance.  But many individuals take medication and still find themselves feeling, anxious, sad, overwhelmed and lonely with no relief in sight.

If you are suffering with anxiety and depression and can’t seem to feel better I can help you explore some of those hidden places that triggers can lurk and help you stop that downward spiral from getting worse.

Wishing you a life of happiness and fulfilled dreams,
